Level Beer, Portland, Oregon[/caption]
When it comes to great beer, Oregonians have a saying, “Craft beer is not a beverage, it’s a lifestyle.” This is a place with clean, pure water and hops growing in abundance; a place that was instrumental in pioneering the way to today’s craft brewing industry. In Portland and the Portland metro area alone there are over 140 craft breweries to choose from, making this city one of our top picks for a ‘must do’ beercation destination.
One of the newer breweries you will not want to miss is Level Beer, located on a 2-acre former produce market in Northeast Portland. Level Beer was founded in 2017 with the mission to bring easy drinking, lower alcohol ales, and lagers to the masses of East Portland and beyond. With a penchant for nostalgia and a raucous sense of humor, Level aims to provide a family-friendly, relaxed atmosphere with beer styles for all.
Here you can enjoy a tasting room, greenhouse beer garden, food carts, and a large outdoor space with games and a hop field. The brewery has a 20 barrel production brewhouse as well as a 2.5 barrel pilot system which allow for continued experimentation and innovation.
