VinGardeValise® Lifetime Warranty

No Restrictions, No Limitations

Effective with all Purchases after September 1, 2024

Forster VGV, Inc. provides the following Lifetime Warranty on its VinGardeValise®

Collection of wine and spirits luggage, marketed specifically under the following
brand names: 

  • Grande 12-Bottle
  • Petite 8-Bottle
  • Piccolo 5-Bottle
  1. As it relates to wheels, straps, TSA lock and handles: The Company will provide the customer with the following replacement parts at no cost:
    • Spinner Wheels
    • Zipper Pulls (TSA lock)
    • TSA Lock
    • Corner Protector Guards
    • Handles (Top, Side and Bottom)
    • Exterior Burst Straps
    • Strap Guides
    The Customer is only responsible for shipping charges.
  2. As it relates to damage to the exterior case shell, interior lining, interior belting, or telescopic retractable handle, be regardless of the source / cause of the damage:

• The Customer will provide the Company with a picture of the suitcase via email using the information below.

• The Company will send the Customer a new suitcase at no cost.

The Customer is only responsible for shipping charges.

Important Note: If your suitcase was damaged by Airline / Carrier mishandling, we ask that you reach out to them first in filing a claim.

Registering the purchase of your VinGardeValise® suitcase:

To qualify for this warranty coverage, the Customer must provide proof of
purchase to the Company along with name, address, and suitcase model/color. If the suitcase was received as a gift, simply indicate “Received as a Gift, and the date the suitcase was received.

  • Orders will typically ship within 2 business days. If you paid for an expedited shipping service, your order will ship within one business day as long as the order was placed before 11:00 am Pacific Time.

Do The Cases Come With Inserts?

Yes, all the wine suitcases come with inserts, which hold standard 750ml size bottles.

- The Grande comes with 6 inserts that accommodates 12 wine bottles
- The Petite comes with 4 inserts that accommodates 8 wine bottles
- The Piccolo comes with 2 inserts that accommodates, 2, 3 or 5 wine bottles

How Do I Open My Suitcase For The First Time?

1. Set to the default code: 0-0-0

2. Slide button (b) toward the zippers.

The zipper pulls should pop out of the lock.

*There is no key included with your suitcase. The keyhole is for TSA so that they can inspect the contents of the suitcase.

How Do I Reset The Lock?

1. Set to the default code: 0-0-0

2. Press the reset button (a) with a pen or paper clip until you hear a click. The button should be pressed down.

3. Set a personal combination by turning the dials to your desired combination. Make sure the digits are perfectly aligned with button (a).

4. After choosing your code, slide the button (b) toward the zippers until you hear a click and the button (a) pops up. It is normal that the button (b) is a bit harder to slide than usual; the code is reset when the button (a) comes back up.

*You can reset the combination again by repeating the steps above, using your personal combination in place of 0-0-0 in

step 1. 

How Do I Install The Exterior Straps?

1. Install the straps into the strap holders using the provided screwdriver.

2. Buckle the long straps around the suitcase.

3. Install the short strap around the ling straps on the other side of the strap holders.

4. Make sure the short strap goes between the side handles so it doesn't move during transit.

How Much Does A Case Weigh?

The Grande (12-bottle) suitcase weighs approximately 13lbs. Filled with 12 bottles of wine (3lbs each) the suitcase typically weighs less than 50lbs.

The Petite (8-bottle) suitcase weighs approximately 12lbs. Filled with 8 bottles of wine (3lbs each) the suitcase typically weighs approximately 36lbs.

The Piccolo (5-bottle) suitcase weighs approximately 10lbs. Filled with 5 bottles of wine (3lbs each) the suitcase typically weighs approximately 25lbs.

**Please keep in mind the average wine bottle weighs 3lbs but they can vary. It is best to weigh your case before travel to ensure it meets weight requirements. Also, check with your airline as many airlines now allow a wine suitcase filled with wine to fly free (Alaska and Southwest among them).

How Do I Register My Suitcase For Warranty?

Your serial number is located on a sticker under the foam inserts & liner on the non-handle side of the case. If your case does not a serial number, listed please reach out to us at info@forstervgv.com  or 844-532-6490 if you are unable to complete the registration of your suitcase.

What Is Covered Under Warranty?

ForsterVGV, Inc. warrants that the VinGardeValise® will be free from defects in materials and workmanship for 10 years from date of purchase prior to August 31, 2024.  The warranty does not cover damage resulting from abuse, airline/carrier mishandling, or wear and tear. The warranty does not cover the contents of the VinGardeValise if they are lost, stolen, or damaged. We will provide wheel, handle, and zipper replacements. We only ask that you pay shipping on these replacement items.

How Do I File A Warranty Claim Or Order Replacement Parts For My Suitcase?

Please initiate a return inquiry with our team by contacting us at info@forstervgv.com or call us at 844-532-6490. Please include pictures of the serial number sticker (where available), name, address, picture of the issue, and a
description. We will review the information and determine the next steps.

How Many Chiller Sheets Do I Need To Order For My Vingardevalise® Suitcase?

One order of the chiller sheets will work on one side of the suitcase.

If you want to use the chiller sheets on both sides (applicable for the 12-bottle and 8-bottle sizes), order the set of 2.The 5-bottle suitcase (Piccolo) has a dedicated side for personal belongings, and a dedicated side for wine bottles. Consequently, only one order of the chiller sheet is enough if you own a 5-bottle suitcase.

Weight: When applying the chiller sheet on one side of the suitcase will add approximately 2.5 lbs to the suitcase. If you apply the chiller sheet on both sides of your 12-bottle or 8-bottle suitcase, it will increase the weight by about 5 lbs.

Damaged/Defective Product Replacement

  • If the product you purchased arrives defective, damaged, or showing signs of previous use, we will issue a replacement at no cost to you.
  • ForsterVGV will provide a return label.
  • The provided return label must be used within 30 days, after which the label is no longer valid.
  • ForsterVGV will send a replacement product via the same shipping method used on the initial order.
  • The product will be eligible for replacement only, no refunds.

New Product Return

Returns are accepted for items in new, unused condition only, within 30 days of delivery. Restocking fees may apply (see section below).

There are two options for returning your items:

ForsterVGV - Initiated Shipment

  • ForsterVGV will provide a digital copy of the return label for you to print.
  • We will provide a quote for return fees and deduct them from your refund amount.
  • The provided return label must be used within 30 days, after which the label is no longer valid.

Customer-Initiated Shipment

  • Create your own return label and return the product to our warehouse using your preferred method.
  • Tracking number must be provided to ForsterVGV at info@forstervgv.com
  • Returned items must be received within 15 days of the return inquiry being initiated.
  • A full refund will be issued.

Things to Remember:

  • Products should be packed safely in order to avoid damage during transit.
  • You are liable for the product until it is received by our fulfillment center.

Restocking Fees

Restocking fees will apply under the following conditions:

  • Product is returned to us damaged
  • Product is unclean or shows signs of use
  • Product is no longer in its original packaging
  • Products no longer have their original factory settings - Example: the lock of the suitcase should be set back to 0-0-0
  • Product was returned outside the 30-day return window - Delivery date will be based on the provided tracking number or the in person pickup date. Returns outside the 30-day return window will only be accepted at ForsterVGV’s own discretion.
  • Parts or accessories are missing from the return shipment
  • Customized products will be subject to a 50% restocking fee.

Returning Late Deliveries

Returns for late deliveries are only eligible for orders shipped via 2-day or overnight shipping. 

Standard orders (without customization) ship 1-2 business day if the order was placed before 1pm Pacific time. Orders placed after 1pm Pacific time will ship the next business day.
