Transporting wine.

It’s a beautiful piece of luggage, but I visit champagne country when I go to France and champagne bottles don’t fit very well. Luckily I tried the bottles to check the fit before going and decided to return the luggage as it’s not really made to transport champagne bottles.

I haul wine to my place in Mexico all the time. This makes it so easy!

Wine bottles came back fine. Fit 4 comfortably would have been a stretch for 5. Sturdiness is below par. The zipper came off the track and now we just have one zipper.

Loved the quality of this suitcase. We packed it with 5 wine bottles on the way to Germany and then brought back whiskey from Ireland. Unfortunately it did not fit the Reisling that we bought in Germany but I had brought along some different wine bags just in case. I was able to move one of the foam inserts to fit the Reisling so it was easy to check the suitcase. I was worried about the suitcase being too heavy but it was well under the max weight. Great construction, easy to maneuver!
